About

ABOUT

Occipo is an impact-oriented company with its vision aligned with UN’s SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being. Our holistic approach reaches far beyond medical outcomes and aims to improve social acceptance of infants with developmental abnormalities, as well as the quality of life of both infants and their families.
As an innovative medical device company, we are set to revolutionize the field of early detection and treatment of positional skull deformities and motor function abnormalities in infants. Our goal is to bring cutting-edge solutions to the field, improving care and outcomes for babies, while making a lasting impact on early- stage healthcare.

With over 20 years of experience as a pediatric physiotherapist specializing in torticollis and positional skull deformities,

Naama Eyal, co-founder and CEO of Occipo, witnessed firsthand the gap in effective and developmentally supportive treatment solutions for positional skull deformities.

Driven by the need to provide a better, more holistic solution, she founded Occipo with a clear mission: to offer infants, parents, and the medical system the most effective, user-friendly, and cost- effective treatment available.

The Occipo Band™ offers the following advantages:

For infants

The Occipo Band™ is a small, lightweight accessory, weighing only about 40% of the average weight of existing helmets. It is padded with a medical-grade, soft, and breathable textile, which prevents the common side effects associated with traditional helmets, including excessive sweating, skin irritation, sweat odor, and more. Occipo Band™ Provides the world׳s first and only option for combined treatment of positional skull deformities and torticollis.

For parents

The unique design of the Occipo Band™ allows for fast, continuous adjustment to the baby’s changing head size throughout the treatment period, significantly reducing the number of required clinic visits. This time-saving feature greatly benefits parents, who are already burdened with their daily routines. In contrast, traditional molding helmets require 10-15 visits for adjustments, leading to the loss of 10 to 30 working days per treatment period.

For clinics and caregivers

Due to the unique dynamic mechanisms of the Occipo Band™, the need for the performance of repeated head scans at the clinics during the treatment period is eliminated. As the adjustment process becomes straightforward, the overtime in the clinic is significantly reduced, as well as the need to purchase expensive dedicated equipment.

Technology

We offer the Occipo Band , the next-gen, easily- adjustable device with comprehensive protection of the head shape of the baby.

This small, light weight device is equipped with an innovative dynamic adjustment mechanism allowing simple and fast on-spot adjustment of the device to the growing baby’s skull. Due to its unique design and mechanism, treatment with the Occipo Band™ doesn’t require 3D scanning to either create a device or through the adjustment visits at the clinic.

The Occipo Band integrated tracking system provides accurate measurements of head position and movements, analyzes the gathered data and presents it through a dedicated App. This capability enables both early detection and guided remote treatment of torticollis and other-head control difficulties, facilitating the world's first and only combined treatment for positional skull deformities & torticollis.
